Founder of UNITE
Based in Morioka, Iwate, I work as a local guide and Japan-based land operator, connecting travelers and travel professionals with authentic local experiences.
Born in Japan and raised in the United States, my time in Oregon sparked a deep interest in sustainability and community-based economies.
After working in hospitality, aviation, language services, and the travel industry, I moved to Morioka in 2022 as part of a regional revitalization initiative.
In 2025, I founded UNITE to support local communities and create meaningful, story-driven experiences that connect people, culture, and place.
