Founder of UNITE
Based in Morioka, Iwate, I work as a local guide and Japan-based land operator, connecting travelers and travel professionals with authentic local experiences.
Born in Japan and raised in the United States, my time in Oregon sparkeda deep interest in sustainability and community-based economies.
After working in hospitality, aviation, language services, and the travel industry, I moved to Morioka in 2022 as part of a regional revitalization initiative.
In 2025, I founded UNITE to support local communities and create meaningful, story-driven experiences that connect people, culture, and place.
